What is the sense of the seemingly growing renaissance of communism in the continental philosophy? Should we take it seriously or is it only an attempt to be trendy in the thinking affairs? This brief article points out the old but powerful roots of this new fascination and suggests an ironic comparison of the "new" French philosophers of the 1980 decade and these "old" neocommunist French thinkers of nowadays.

The Doxa commonly accepted by the society and the university states that philosophy practiced in Univestity Departments is a socially useless activity. This belief tranquilizes the society and provides to the professionals of philosophy the distinction marks of which they extract his symbolic prestige, but hides an inadvertent reality: the multiple extra-academic informal connections that take place between philosophy and society, and that have fed the birth of hybrid literary-intellectual territories with a strong practical implantation. The reforms that are to undergo in the next years the Spanish educative space demand with increasing insistence the adaptation of university Departments to the necessities of the society and, therefore, the taking in consideration of that inadvertent connection. If, by virtue of the old corporative prejudices, the professional philosophy does not accept the work of critical control of that informal periphery, is possible that it cannot reflectively direct his process of transformation in agreement with the requirements of a democratic society.

The will to escape from the so called Metaphysics of Presence has become a topic in contemporary philosophy. However, this topic is often related to the primacy, in ancient thought, of the actual being, and the correlative evaluation of the potential as an imperfect way of existence. In this text we first analyze the traditional interpretation of the foundations of this primacy in Aristotle's philosophy, that exhibits a theological form. According to this we explore, in the second part of the article, how the efforts of modern thinkers to build an ontological discourse free from this primacy have produced, in some cases, a kind of Umkehrung resulting in a Metaphysics of Absence that preserves the theological form and results in a primacy of the potential, that is specifically consistent with the Imperium of the Virtual, very illustrative of nowadays conceptions of time, language, power and being. Finally, we essay to offer another interpretation of the primacy of the actual in Aristotle's Ethics and Metaphysics, which could identify a political philosophy capable to avoid the infertile alternative Presence/Absence in ontology.

Nowadays, the Public Administrations have become one of the most important target groups regarding the use and promotion of free and open source software. The current economic crisis in our country and all the problems that it brings, have made aspects such as saving the costs of licenses or the promotion of local industry in this area, have a very important place in the agenda of many of our country's government. Achieving effective eGovernment closer to its citizens, which responds to the needs of the users, as well as the achievement of a Information and Knowledge Society based on open technologies and open standards, among many others, are some of the issues that have generated a strong debate within public administration. In this work I try to make a study of the advantages and disadvantages associated with the use of free software, as well as an overview to help us to understand the basic ideas of this movement and the importance of its implementation in public administration. It also intends to carry out the exposure of some of the outstanding projects and initiatives that are being carried out on the use of free software by public administrations. Finally, I must say that the territorial framework in which this work is focused is primarily on Spanish state and the impact of free software in it, with particular emphasis on the autonomous community of Andalusia and taking into account other policy elements and international studies, with the intention of providing a broader view of this issue.
